The Clothesline Project
The Clothesline Project is part of a national project that looks to end the cultural silence about violence against women by having survivors and allies decorate t-shirts that express their anti-violence stance. The t-shirts are then publicly displayed on a clothesline at Hoover High School in order to bring attention to the epidemic of violence against women. This activity is always one that is both emotionally intense and deeply rewarding for Club members, as we become activists through self-expression.
